Bike Kitchen: an overwhelmingly biker friendly place, you won't find jocks or marathon competitors (probably)/ just many a friendly folk happy to help you with an assortment of bicycle-related activities. put together a bike from scratch, fix yer own bike, tune up yer bike, etc.

Vlad the Retailer: a little shoppe owned by a sir Erin (i forget his name isn't Vlad). find zines and second-hand books. see paintings and drawings by local artists clinging to the walls. watch bands play live and movies being screened on occasion and a comedian named Rick Shapiro do stand-up. all in all great fun.
you could sell your d.i.y. shit with mister Vlad, too.
